After the discovery of a car belonging to a Frenchman in Cambodia in the southern province of Kampong Speu on Jan. 14th, the Police is investigating the deaths of the five people found in the car. They suspect they are the missing Frenchman and his four children. Cambodia has experienced an upsurge of kidnappings and security threats in recent months. The Ministry of Interior in Cambodia is extremly concerned by this increase of criminal activity. It advocates protection for expatriates working for foreign companies or ONG.
